The time is near, both the Ipad and the Courier will appear soon, two monoliths of techno power battling for the future of the mobile computing footprint. I have to say that I’m taken with both, I like the form factors for both devices from the previews, they both have great potential. For me it’s going to be the usability and practicality of the thing. I do like Apple for the input methods and ease of use, somewhere I think that Microsoft haven’t always hit on the head. Saying that however, some of the newer devices such as the Zune coupled with great online services from the Live community have been extremely good. So I’m split at the moment I guess price will be a huge factor along with the ease of use. I’m currently typing this on my iPod touch and I type faster on this than on even a conventional keyboard as I find it very intuitive, if the iPad can match this then they’ll be laughing. I guess we’ll have to wait and see. Until then I’ll be looking to sell the old 17″ widescreen Hp laptop to raise funds, it was far too heavy to carry around anyway……
